CTS 9 Weekend Starts TONIGHT!

Hi All,

Just a final reminder that the big weekend is upon us!  Here are the event details:

Friday - Monkey Nut Open House Party - 5 pm-very late

Saturday - Charlotte Transporter Show #9 - 8 am  followed by a afternoon cruise up to Mocksville, NC for a campout at the Farmington Dragway track

Since Farmington Dragway is not open until later in the afternoon, John Harper at the Vintage Workshop has again opened his doors for an after CTS open house. He will have some food and drinks plus a shower available if needed. The shop is less than 10 miles away from the show venue.

Meeting tonight at the Burger Company 6-9pm

On the agenda tonight will be the April events, as well as plans for CTS this May. Show season is almost here..The weather should be nice, so no excuses!

Cars and Coffee this Saturday 3/3/12 8-11am.

Just a reminder that the monthly Cars and Coffee event will be held this Saturday morning from 8-11 am at the Panera Bread, Northlake Mall.  With 70+ degree weather this week, I think it is definitely time to take the old VW for a spin...!

With the unseasonably warm weather this winter, you may feel the early spring itch to take your car out for a drive.  If so, come join MVWE/PTO at Cars and Coffee this Saturday morning from 8-11 am at Northlake Mall near Charlotte.  The turnouts have been fantastic and you never know what make or model will show up!  Hope to see you out there this weekend.

Meeting tonight. 12/14/11

Hi All,
As the year is rapidly coming to a close, I wanted to remind you of our last VW Cruise-in tonight from 6:00-9 pm at the corner of Morehead and Freedom Blvds (Pinky's/Burger Co.).  We will be collecting canned food for the needy, so please bring along any you can spare.  We will also be planning our annual Holiday MVWE/PTO party as well as continuing our discussions of next year's events, including preliminary planning for CTS 9.  Hope to see you all on Wednesday night!

Meeting this Wednesday Burger Co parking lot. 6-9

Hi All,
The November PTO/MVWE Cruise-In will be back at the Burger Co./Pinky's parking lot from 6-9 pm this Wednesday night.  If folks are passing through on their way to Bulli Brigade, stop in and grab a bite with us.  
Big News - The Spring Farmington Show is officially moved to May 20th, 2012 - the day after CTS9!
We are looking for a more scenic, shady, grassy, family friendly venue for CTS9 this year - if you have any suggestions, please bring them to the meeting this Wednesday.
